The eighth season containing eight episodes premiered on July 24, 2011. Creator Doug Ellin is also planning to write a film after the series ends. In November 2010, Kevin Dillon said no film has been confirmed. In July 2011, Emmanuelle Chriqui stated that there is a "definite possibility" of a film after the series concludes its eighth season.
