Usagi Drop

Going home from his grandfather's funeral, thirty-year-old Daikichi is floored to discover that the old man had an illegitimate child with a younger lover. The Walking Dead season 1

Arguably the biggest hit of the US 2010 television season, the apocalypse drama The Walking Dead pulls the zombie subgenre out of its overexposed doldrums and finds, ironically enough, the humanity and emotion beneath its rotting shell. Produced by Frank Darabont (The Shawshank Redemption) and Gale Anne Hurd (Aliens) and based on the acclaimed graphic novel by Robert Kirkman, The Walking Dead follows a band of Atlanta-based survivors of a viral outbreak that has caused the dead to rise up and consume the living. The group's nominal leader is a sheriff's deputy (Andrew Lincoln) who wakes from a gunshot-induced coma to find the world in disarray and his wife (Sarah Wayne Callies, Prison Break) and son missing. His search for his family and the survivors' attempts to make sense of their lives in the wake of the outbreak is handled with intelligence and sensitivity, which helps to elevate the show beyond the grindhouse take on zombies, which favours spilled guts over character development. That's not to say that the blood doesn't flow plentifully here: the special effects are on par with zombie-movie mayhem, but again, they aren't the show's raison d'être. Solid performances, including Jon Bernthal as Lincoln's partner, Jeffrey DeMunn as the group's leading rationalist, and Michael Rooker and Norman Reedus as a pair of trouble-making rednecks, and gripping suspense make each of the first season's six episodes compelling from start to finish for both horror fans and those who dislike the genre as a whole.

America's Next Top Model season 14

A new rule this cycle enabled the girl called first at panel to receive the prize of the following week's reward challenge, regardless of their performance at the actual challenge. If the same girl won the challenge, she was able to pick others to join her on the reward, or received additional prizes along with her challenge win.

Top Model in Action was replaced with Top Model Lounge featuring Bianca from Cycle 9 and Laura from Cycle 13 offering commentary about each week's episode.

This cycle returned to featuring girls within the standard heights of the modeling industry (5'7" and taller), unlike the previous cycle. In addition, Cycle 14 took place in New York City, having been set in Los Angeles for Cycle 13.

Detective Conan Special

Three original video animations (OVA) series were produced by TMS Entertainment, Nippon Television, and Yomiuri Telecasting Corporation. The third OVA series are entitled Detective Conan Specials which focus on the character Phantom Thief Kid and is aired during Case Closed's time slot in Japan.

One night, while Kid was stealing an item, Inspector Nagamouri saw Kid's face. He suspected right away that Kaito might actually be Kid since Kid's face was similar to Kaito. Besides, Kaito was also very good at magic tricks. However, Aoko didn't belive it.She wanted to prove that her father was wrong. So, she asked Kaito to have a date with her on the same day as the next Kid's mission day. Kaito went to have a date with Aoko, and at the same time, he had to find the way to complete his mission so that Inspector Nagamouri would not suspect him anymore. Kaito had to run around trying to do two things at the same. It's really a Kid's busy working day.

The Phantom Thief Festival continues with another Magic Kaito special! This time, it's based on volume 1 chapter 2.

Hunter x Hunter

Gon Freecs, a young boy that lives on a small island learns that his father who he doesn't remember is an extremely famous man and has become somewhat of an amazing hunter. Gon takes the hunter exam to seek out his amazing father, but on the way while teaming up with 3 other candidates, Kurapica, Leorio, and Killua, he learns that there is more to becoming a hunter and the challenges that he must face will be beyond his imaginations.

Twelve-year-old Gon Freecss one day discovers that the father he had always been told was dead was alive and well. His Father, Ging, is a Hunter--a member of society's elite with a license to go anywhere or do almost anything. Gon, determined to follow in his father's footsteps, decides to take the Hunter Examination and eventually find his father to prove himself as a Hunter in his own right. But on the way, he learns that there is more to becoming a Hunter than previously thought, and the challenges that he must face are considered the toughest in the world.

Fillmore!

Cornelius Fillmore (voiced by Orlando Brown) a juvenile delinquent with a record was caught raiding the school's new chalk shipment. He was arrested and given a choice by the safety patrol officer who caught him, either help him solve another case or spend the rest of middle school in detention. Fillmore decided to help out and he eventually decided to join up with the safety patrol. The show is based around him and his partner Ingrid Third (voiced by Tara Strong) at X Middle School. The show's format parodies that of hard-boiled police dramas. X's safety patrol is much more actively involved in student behavior than a typical school's safety patrol, and officers often seem to spend more time patrolling than actually attending class (in fact not a single episode shows a member of the Safety Patrol even attending class). As part of the Safety Patrol at X Middle School, Fillmore and Third solve crimes/mysteries. The series usually presents child-friendly versions of common crimes, such as stolen scooters instead of cars, smuggling tartar sauce instead of drug smuggling, and holding illegal frog races instead of illegal street races.

Gargoyles is an American animated series created by Greg Weisman. It was produced by Greg Weisman and Frank Paur and aired from October 24, 1994 to February 15, 1997. Gargoyles is known for its dark tone, complex story arcs and melodrama. Character arcs were heavily employed throughout the series, and as the series progressed, it became deeply influenced by medieval Scottish history and Shakespeare's Macbeth and A Midsummer Night's Dream.

The fifth season of SpongeBob SquarePants premiered on April 13, 2007, with the episode "Friend or Foe". There are still incredibly funny lines and the characters are still great. The storylines are getting more and more predictable; for example, SpongeBob and Patrick enjoy things most find torturous to the bafflement of others, Patrick's slow mind taking days to form a thought, and SB is seen as destructive even though he has all the best intentions.

SpongeBob SquarePants season 4

The first three seasons of Spongebob were great. It was an absurd masterpeice of the highest order that made Ren and Stimpy look like "Washington Week in Review" in comparison. It had comedy that kids could relate to as well as something for us adults, mainly in the characters that resemble people we see in real life every day: the eternal optimist (Spongebob), the psychotic best friend (Patrick), the "foreigner" just trying to adapt to new surroundings (Sandy), the "accomplished neophyte" that lacks any real skill (Squidward), and the cheapskate (Mr. Krabs).

Unfortunately, in its fourth season, Spongebob jumps the shark, probably due to the departure of creator and marine biologist Stephen Hillenburg. The cartoon inhabitants of Bikini Bottom have become just exaggerated caricatures of their past incarnations - they are cartoons of cartoons. The clever dialogue and straightforward storylines of past seasons have been replaced with slap-stick physical comedy and overly complex storylines that are boring for children and too inane for adults.

SpongeBob SquarePants season 3
